Great variety; Larger white blooms!
'Appalachian Snow' is a newer, greatly improved native dogwood variety with high resistance to mildew and anthracnose. Large 4 to 5 inch wide flowers with overlapping bracts cover the canopy like snow in spring and are followed by bright red berries. This is a strong grower and blooms at an early age. The foliage is rich green through the season changing to brilliant shades of gold, red and orange with the arrival of cool temperatures in fall. Matures at 15' tall and wide in Central Indiana.
