With dark chocolate and cherry red hues, 'Black Forest Cake' Coral Bells is as attractive as its namesake dessert. Even before it blooms, this perennial draws the eye and complements the colors of neighboring plants with deep purple, nearly black scalloped foliage. In late spring and early summer, long-lasting spires of tiny red bell-shaped blooms float above the mounding foliage, attracting bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. (Source: American Meadows)
