A native evergreen groundcover for shade!

Wild Stonecrop forms a thick mat of succulent light-green leaves, covered with star-like white flowers in late spring and early summer. Less than a foot tall, it creeps rapidly to form a splendid groundcover in partial shade. Easily grown in medium well-drained soils this native sedum tolerates part shade and moist soils better than most other sedums. Sedum ternatum is native to the Eastern and East-Central U.S. Other common names include Whorled Stonecrop or Three-Leaved Stonecrop. (Source: Prairie Nursery, Inc.)
